
Garment drying is one of the largest sources of thermal energy demand in laundry operations. This project pilots an innovative electrified drying technology with the potential to eliminate steam consumption, significantly reduce carbon emissions, and demonstrate a scalable pathway for decarbonizing textile laundry facilities.
Installation of an innovative closed-loop Half Vacuum Heating System (HVS) and supporting electrical infrastructure, transformer upgrades, and underground cable systems to replace conventional steam-based garment drying. The project eliminates steam use, substantially reduces energy consumption, and improves workplace conditions while integrating with Genviet's existing production line.
