The Challenge

Epricon was introduced to Arvind Mills in Ahmedabad, and aimed to replace reactive prints. Successful trials led to its adoption, driven by brands seeking sustainable printing solutions. Comparative advantage sped up acceptance. Pilot runs succeeded, and buyers' approval lead to bulk production. Arvind Mills’ teams, along with Zydex support, managed some initial hiccups and got a hold on performance. Implementation showed significant resource savings: 1339 m3 of water, 5893 GJ of power, 458 tCO2e, and US$ 71,600 saved from printing around 1.8 million meters. Productivity increased by more than 50%.
