As part of our dedication to research and solution identification, we focused the second round of our CSP application process on finding partners to develop data-driven roadmaps on thermal energy and energy storage – critical solution areas that currently lack industry-wide knowledge and reliable data.
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve selected two organizations for this work:
Global Efficiency Intelligence, LLC (GEI) – GEI’s extensive published research on this topic and deep expertise in the apparel sector make them the ideal candidates to craft a roadmap for low-carbon thermal energy.
The Carbon Trust – Blending technical competency, pioneering work in the energy transition and energy systems space, a systems approach, and apparel expertise in their corporate practice, the Carbon Trust emerged as especially well-suited for the energy storage roadmap.
Both roadmaps will gather and establish an industry vision, creating alignment and accelerating decarbonization. Additionally, the roadmaps will serve as a foundation for future CSP funding on these reduction levers.
We look forward to sharing the initial results of the roadmaps in spring 2024 and the final deliverables in summer 2024.
